Tyler brings years of experience as a digital marketing CEO and outdoor entrepreneur. Gabe, a U.S. Army veteran and media producer, adds a background in canine training, guiding, and professional video production.

Meet the Founders Behind Dirty Paws Marketing
A Vision Rooted in Experience and Purpose
Dirty Paws Marketing was created by two individuals who share a deep passion for dogs and a commitment to transforming the dog and pet industry through strategic, authentic digital marketing.
Co-Founders Tyler Gray and Gabe Colón combined their unique backgrounds to build a digital marketing agency for dog businesses — one that truly understands the dog industry from the inside out.
Tyler Gray
Co-Founder & CEO
Tyler has spent years in both the digital marketing world and the field with dogs at his side.
As the owner of Gray Peak Marketing, a digital agency serving outdoor and sporting businesses worldwide, Tyler brings extensive experience in brand strategy, SEO, and performance-based growth.
Outside the office, Tyler is an avid hunter and dog trainer with a deep appreciation for the connection between handler and dog. He owns three dogs — Sterling, a Drahthaar; Ripley, a German Wirehair Pointer; and Mo, a Cavapoo. Each represents a different side of his life: performance, versatility, and family.
That balance between professionalism and passion is what defines how he leads Dirty Paws Marketing – blending technical marketing expertise with a genuine understanding of the dog world.
Gabe Colón
Co-Founder & President
A U.S. Army veteran with over eight years of experience in professional dog training, he has worked alongside top trainers across disciplines such as Schutzhund, PSA, NAVHDA, NSTRA, and AKC and UKC Hunt Tests.
He has also collaborated with police K9 units, military, protection, and hunting dogs. His wife, a dog trainer for over a decade, specializes in behavior modification and pet training, giving him a deep understanding of the bond between owners and their dogs.
These years have taught him what builds trust between owners, trainers, and dogs, and what separates good programs from great ones. Although he no longer trains client dogs, he now focuses on helping small dog businesses, kennels, and trainers grow through digital marketing strategies tailored for the dog industry.
Using real-world insights and modern marketing systems, he helps dog professionals share their stories, reach clients, and achieve sustainable success.
